I'm getting a pretty strong vibe that Flowers is waiting a bit for us to free up more cash.

It's strangely silent.

I'm trying to look at it from flowers point of view, seeing what fits are out there and I just don't see one better than SD. Everyone's mentioned Atlanta because of Pioli but they have two good young corners, don't see where flowers would fit in there. The other teams aren't real scheme fits either.

A defense can take away any player if they choose to. An elite corner with just a bit of help over the top can do the same.

People forget that the Chiefs not only had Flowers, but they also have Eric Berry at S.

Either way VJ >> Meachum, Royal, and McClain which is essentially what it boiled down to. That relationship was damaged beyond repair though after AJ tried to screw over VJ in the uncapped year. Still can't believe AJ threw that year away with the McNeil and VJ contract issues. Such a damn shame.

Gates often has abused Eric Berry.

Maybe they are restructuring a contract to make it work. You would think he would be on to one or more teams by now if he was really $$ shopping. I know id have hit another team by now if that was my motivation to get a feel for the other opportunities. Correlates towards Flowers really already deciding he has chosen San Diego provided fair compensation can be reached.

I can understand the complaint with the links as I also asked why they aren't a different, noticeable color .......but THAT is what you wanted us to see?
