Scott blocked as if he expected a super fast zip pass by Rivers. He just gave the defender a quick hand block and let the defender whiff by him to Rivers. Yes...ugly.
Side note: Congratulations to Ty Long being named AFC Special Teams player of the week.Last edited by Caslon; 09-11-2019, 10:52 AM.

Chargers got a lead and expected the Colts to pass. Figured if they wanted rushing yards and an "L", so be it.
Chargers were correct.
They saved their offense until needed. Take away Rivers INT in the endzone and it's a cake walk.
Lovely stuff.

play #2
maybe time was the major factor, another 1/2 sec and Mike W is open in the corner.
Still i think Phil had decided pre-snap thats where he was going. He had time after the play action to spot Travis B, but was looking at the free safety instead. His head actually turned past Travis B location in a rush to spot the free safety.
Love Phil, and this is easily correctable.

Oh yeah, and the O-line can't go a day without giving up a sack.
