It's not a Telesco thing, it's a Spanos thing. Look back to during the AJ Smith days and beyond and you'll see that the Chargers will not trade for or sign high profile players no matter what.

Telesco has his faults but it's not fair to blame this one or the strategy of not trading for star players on him.

Exactly. Gus Bradley was the genius behind implementing a zone defense against Tom freaking Brady which is the exact type of defense that Brady has destroyed easily his entire career. Even grade school flag football coaches knew that going zone against Tom Brady for most of the game is the equivalent of tanking the game.

That alone should've got Bradley on the hot seat yet all seems to be forgiven about him.

We don't have man press corners. Have u seen how NE runs pick llays vs man? Go watch what they did to Pitt week 1 (who have switched to a man outside vs zone). We didnt have any LB to play. The entire team laid an egg. grading a guy in one game in a horrible spot is dumb IMO. 5th in pts allowed with an ambulance squad.
