On the contrary. He should have figured that he sucks at it by now and done something about it In FA. At least he is somewhat trying with the oline with the additions of Okung and Pouncey (sadly Okung non football injured).

What does the interior dline have to show for? Mebane who has been over the hill for a while now. We needed immediate impact not draft picks we hope might help at this point like we do every year.

The fact that he dumped money into guys like Mebane, Thomas Davis and Tyrod tells me he doesn't take it seriously. We don't look like we are win now mode.

For the third time in four weeks, Joey Bosa is the #Chargers highest graded defensive player. 5 pressures, including a sack, helped produce an elite pass rushing grade of 90.6. Through four weeks, Bosa is top 4 among DE in defensive grade, tackling grade, and pass rushing grade.

      Is anyone surprised by this?
Nope. Bosa is so important and underrated even though he doesn't get to put up flashy stats.

For what it's worth... I have noticed in the time I have watched the games (I don't always see all of them), that Bosa has been solid against the run as well.

        Not a one trick pony.

Agreed. The guy is a well rounded player.

Suh didn't show anything last year for most of the year so I was meh about signing someone like that to a big contract. Maybe he's better this year. Good for him.

PFF would disagree with you as many others would. Suh was in the backfield quite a bit last year. Commanded double teams too and had a good overall grade. He's a proven guy and didn't look like he slowed down much to me. His sack numbers don't tell the whole story.

PFF also had Jerry Tillery as an elite top 10 player in the draft. So what does that mean when it comes to PFF's words of wisdom?
Mike Renner dips into the PFF well to examine why Jerry Tillery is an elite defensive prospect for the 2019 NFL Draft.

The only thing that I can think of is players hurt during the game and they had a miscommunication. But yeah, really weird.

So because Suh recovered a fumble, all the sudden he has an impact with TB? He didn't cause that fumble, he got the lucky bounce with nobody in front of him.

Dude has 3 solo tackles and 4 assists in 4 games. Mebane has a sack and 13 tackles and isn't taking every snap.

"Lynn was adamant that Lamp's playing time had nothing to do with Feeney's performance. Nonetheless, he hopes to continue giving Lamp meaningful snaps.

"You don't want to disrupt the chemistry up front, but I don't think Forrest is going to disrupt that chemistry," Lynn said. "He's been here for three years. He hasn't been in games, but he's been in the meeting rooms, he understands communication, and I trust the young man."

There goes Lynn again saying he doesn't want to mess with the "chemistry" of our line. Well how about this: How about the crap chemistry we're currently seeing with Feeney, Scott and Tevi ALL allowing 2.5 sacks each so far? Not to mention a ton of hurries. At this rate, they're ALL on schedule to give up about 11-12 sacks on the season. So, coach Lynn, you don't want to mess with THAT chemistry? I say, GO AHEAD and mess with that crap chemistry, because it sure ain't working!!!

GO AHEAD AND MESS WITH THIS CHEMISTRY! MAKE MY DAY!
