I see a stealth solid roster, vintage Mickey Loomis.

Some actually like Rattler (Derrik Klassen.)

Shough and Rattler both have arm talent and both are as wild as a March Hare.

    Stay tuned.
    Kellen Moore is Superman.

    Gotta go.
Not sure where you are getting $53m -- OTC shows them at $27m and Carr is netting them some but not all 30m -

5 to 6 win team with the QB situation they have
    roster is over-rated and old
Loomis should have tanked this year

Texans owner the latest to start to fuck shit up as they give 2nd round pick Jayden Higgins a fully guaranteed contract which are only given to first round picks.

Now we may see holdouts in the future. Owners ask for draft pick slotted pay and they just can't stick to it. I mean he gets his slotted pay but now it's 100% guaranteed.

Just can't feel sorry for these owners when a WR wants 30 mil and QBs like Dak get 60 mil

I dont think Arch Manning comes out this year, jmo...but he might...and I think there will be 2 deciding factors. First, does he struggle, and his camp thinks he could use some more time on the vine? Or does he look good, and checks all the boxes. Second, even if he does well...the team that holds that first pick may influence his decision. Giants? No brainer...Browns? Im thinking no...

He could always pull an Eli...but I hate that...and not just because of what happened to us...the system is in place for a reason, and no one should get royalty treatment...its embarrassing for the sport, and undermines the fairness of the draft process...

No repeat after Eli...but if it happens again, I fear more players will pull this kinda shit...teams trying to get better will be forced into trading away the opportunity to select best player, and since they are being forced by the player being unwilling to play there, the suitors will have leverage...unless there is a bidding war. Messy any way you look at it.

Only thing I liked about AJ...he drafted Eli anyway.

I hope the next time someone pulls that crap, the team with the pick drafts him, and keeps him. If he holds out? That team gets rewarded with that same pick next year, in addition to whatever pick they earn...the rest of the teams wont like that, the player will be the pariah, and be out of football for a year...that will put a stop to that shit.
          Respectly disagree.
these fucking teams should be banned from drafting and destroying qbs. Haha
Okay I went the other way too far.
But in general, NFL needs good qbs to flourish and sell tickets, can't do that by wasting 4 to 5 years on the Jets, Browns, etc. If a player has true leverage ala Eli, fucking do it.
          HAMMER TIME
          (can't touch him)

Moore will be on the hot seat starting year 3, and the Saints will start imploding after September.

Moore and Staley types, two fresh faced lads, just don't sell when things are rolling the wrong way.

I said it about Staley when he was hired and caught grief for it.

Staley's 'fresh' face wasn't the problem . . . . . . . it was that he knew damn all about how to lead a football team

Kellen Moore will "outcoach" Brandon Staley.

                  Ok, it's a wash.

Yep...what's next? A day 3 draft pick holding out? Oh, wait...the Bolts DID see that happen in 2009 with rookie 6th rounder Kevin Ellison:

Posted by ESPN.com's Bill Williamson San Diego rookie safety Kevin Ellison has ended an unusual holdout and agreed to a four-year deal. He will be on the field when the Chargers start their full-blown training camp Friday.

Moore and Staley...like the blind leading the blind...and when Moore DOES get in that hot seat, Staley will be waiting in the wings for another shot at HC...

Kellen Moore has a SB ring. He’s earned the benefit of the doubt.

                          NFL is so competitive.
Popper says the Charger schedule will be "exponentially tougher" in '25.
Scribes don’t know what exponentially means

It will be tougher. LVR and DEN will both be better for starters, not even counting 2nd place schedule vs 4th. Agree with Beserker - more tougher games = Harden the steel before winter. I look forward to seeing LAC ready for the step up in class and more formidable come January.
