I won't question Hortiz and Haarbugh either way, if they decide to trade major draft capital and pay huge money to McLaurin or if they just sit tight with what they have and trust their coaches to get these guys playing at a level where it helps Herbert...all I will say is that this is a waaaaaaay better group going into 2025 than the one we went into 2024 with AND now we have a decent TE in Conklin and a guy that earned Herbert's trust in Dissly too, that desperation we had last year to get Herbert more weapons is greatly reduced in my opinion...I think these young guys are all going to be very good...we've seen day three WRs make an impact from the jump before, maybe KLS is this year's version of what the Rams experienced in 2023..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Yes. I'd give up anything Dallas wanted except the following:
1. Herbert
2. Alt
3. Slater
4. McConkey
Any other player and 2 first round picks? Yes. The package the Bears gave up for Mack? Yes."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. I will be so mad if they trade for McLaurin.
Why would you trade an asset for McLaurin and give him a $30M APY extension when you could have signed Adams without giving up any assets for less money on a shorter term? Yeah, McLaurin is a few years younger, but you have to give up an asset and pay him more for longer.

Everything on this board is pointless. I'm just here to shoot the breeze about football and have some fun. I don't think my offer was being sent to Jerry Jones directly for his consideration. I'm not even sure I have the power to make an offer on behalf of the Chargers.Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post

from The Athletic:- Micah Parsons wants out.
The relationship with the star pass rusher and the Dallas Cowboys has reached a breaking point, with Parsons announcing Friday morning that he has requested a trade as the Cowboys continue not to engage in contract extension talks.
“I have made a tough decision,” Parsons wrote in a statement on X, “I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys. My trade request has been submitted to Stephen Jones personally.”
As reported earlier Friday morning by The Athletic, the two sides remain far apart heading into the second week of training camp and are not currently negotiating.
Among the key issues: Parsons spoke directly with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones over multiple days in the spring. The team believed those conversations were negotiations and that it had a deal, multiple league sources said. But Parsons believed the talks were just conversations and wanted his agent to handle the negotiations. When Parsons’ agent attempted to start negotiations, the Cowboys declined to engage with him and told the pass rusher that they believed they already had a deal.
Now, the team is refusing to engage with Parsons’ agent at all, creating a tense standoff amid increasing friction.

“I no longer want to be held to close door negotiations without my agent present,” Parsons said in his statement posted on X. “I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans and my teammates. I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me.”
The Cowboys, according to league sources, do not plan to deal Parsons but that’s not expected to stop teams around the league from reaching out.
Parsons, who is in the final year of his rookie deal, is attending Cowboys practices but not participating in on-field work. The 26-year-old four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher is annually among the NFL defensive player of the year favorites and will likely earn more than $40 million a year from his next deal.
“We’re just working with what it is,” Jones told reporters on July 21. “It’s not uncommon for me, and not anything there’s a lot of angst over. He’s doing a real good job of being here. And that’s important. … We are where we are. And I sign the check. Period.”
Prior to his statement, Parsons has not communicated publicly since July 22, when he said: “I want to be here. At the end of the day, they sign the checks. Let’s see if they want me to be here.
“I’ve been pretty consistent. If they don’t want me here, I’ll go about my business. I understand the nature of the business. As long as I’m here and under contract, I’m going to do what I have to do to perform at the highest level. But if this is the end, then this is the end.”
The Cowboys are no strangers to contract holdouts, often involving their most prominent players. Since 2019, Ezekiel Elliott, Zack Martin and CeeDee Lamb all staged holdouts that included ugly moments before signing late in the summer, but none ad*****d to the point of requesting a trade.
"The best defense is more offense."

I'll be Joe is looking into right now. But I don't believe the Commanders have any intention of trading Scary Terry. The Commanders played in three playoff games last season. Jayden Daniels threw a TD pass to McLaurin in each one of them. If for some crazy reason the Commanders did decide to trade McLaurin, it's one of the few cases I would advocate for giving up the draft compensation and paying his price.

I have also thought about Hampton as well
You are correct - the rest of the team is open for business
