They are over the cap every year and restructure, extend, make a cut or two and keep it moving

And that's not to say that the Saints don't want to draft and develop a QB, too. Carr seems like a good 'bridge' guy, a QB who'd keep you competitive while you're developing your QotF.
Dalton wasn’t bad this season, statistically he and Carr were about the same. I don’t know if Carr will improve them much but they’re probably the favorites in that garbage division with Brady gone.

Still agree with the below. Eagles maximized their chance of winning if they had gone for it on 4th and 3 on their 32, even if they had successfully punted.

That's a great hire for Reich as he hjmself is already the in-house qb expert.
now he has a legitimate OC who can surround the qb with everything he needs.

Keep beating that horse. Meanwhile Andy Reid takes the three everytime he can and doesn’t get side tracked by the pencil neck geeks and keeps on winning

I don’t recall TPB being as enthusiastic when he interviewed for LAC.- all i read was there must be a reason McVay doesnt promote him. I don’t konw but I’d bet that he’s a fine coach, McVay isn’t the kind of dude that will suffer fools under him. I’m happy we have Moore instead though. From what I see of the Carolina roster, he’s not going to be as successful as Moore and we will quickly conclude that Moore is a better coach (source: the players matter chapter of NFL Coaching 101).

Reid makes up for it in other ways including his play design and having Mahomes as QB. How often does the guy settle for three btw? It’s like Belichick with Brady versus without. When you’re the top team year in and year out, you can get away with certain things. Which means that it’s important for a team like the Eagles and Siranni to do everything in their power to maximize their chance of winning against the top team. Doug Pederson beat the Brady led Patriots in the SB because he maximized his chances of winning.
