I knew you'd chime in with this same tired line. If you read my posts you know I have said repeatedly that a FEW critical positions need help at backup - a situation which you're already aware of. Why don't you add something to the discussion instead of making sarcastic statements you know aren't true?

For the record - I think our depth is acceptable to good across the board, with the exception of edge and center - maybe QB (but that's a special case).

Agreed . . . . . . . late game pressure on the QB is the key to beating KC, assuming that we play them close like we have been lately . . . . . and covering Kelsey (of course).

Frank Clark had a domestic violence incident aa a Wolverine, and a weapons charge as a Chief.

The Chargers would never sign him.

Chief fans don't care about that.
Ask Chief's fans what they think of Frank Clark on the football field. They would have been high-fiving if the Chargers signed him.

I realize we have to pay Herbert soon, but he fits the Staley D and still in his prime.
They'd want a 2nd round pick for Hunter.
Then the Chargers would have to fit him and his contract in under their cap.

Well, I had him in my round 4 clusta, as a value pick. This was only after noting that the judge in Michigan went light on Clark. Seahawks drafyed the dude quite a bit earlier.

DV. No bueno. But judge was lenient. Hmmm.

Follow that up with a stupid airport weapons charge, I think at LAX ?

That is not backing your bet to contend in a very tough AFC where you have to get pressure on a plethora of killer QBs.
Why you gotta add the adjective aging to Mack? Every edge rusher can be neutralized with constant double team.

I think you really need to have enough good people to rotate more - give your best rushers more rest so they are still getting after the QB late in the game. Maybe we already have four good ones and I just don't know it? But, that means we're depending on Rumph and a rookie to be very good. Seems like a long shot to me.
                      Poor conditioning?

I remember Jimmy Johnson saying when he was a HC if they were going to lose, it wasn't going to be because they werent in shaped and got gassed.

                          Worth considering imo.
