I'm with Tomlin. I think your starters should play in the preseason. I'd play them for the first half of game one, three-quarters of game two, and not at all in game three. I've always believed the OL needs that playing time.

I think most of the younger players are getting that time during preseason so that helps there that we are a much younger oline in general.

I'm on board with this, but I think Jerruh would want more than Stick. What would you give for Rush? Rush is 5-1 as a starting QB playing for Kellen Moore. He was 4-1 last season starting in place of Dak, when Dak was out with a thumb injury. Rush beat the Bengals, Giants, Wash & Rams. He lost to the Eagles in Philly. In 2021 he started one game, beating the Vikes in Minn.

That's an expensive song. They picked up all his guarantees and will make 20.1 mil the next two seasons. 9.3 mil cap hit this year.
Not sure why nobody figures that in and only talk about what they gave up to get him. They probably could of offered Amazon gift cards and the Niners would of took it to get rid of his contract, and Jerruh came a biting.

Are you sure that's what's left on his contract? If so you're right - Lance was a lot more expensive than he's worth. He's not even backup level talent at this point. Are the Cowboys trying to motivate Prescott?
