That is a stunning stat. I say Sam Bradford started this downward trend. QB salaries are now so exorbitant, that if a QB underperforms or is injured, the coach is fired.

I would say that even if the QB performs, and I think everyone understands how important the position is, with the monster contracts it is going to be hard to surround the elite QBs with a lot of other talent.

This is the same story with many other “good” players. I’m glad KA and Bosa continue to play hard/compete even after the Bolts gave them massive contracts.

I am still good with adding a mid round pick -- but nothing higher than the 3rd round (expected) comp pick
