Watched the Sherman/Staley interview....Sherman has the Football Geek talk down Pat!

That was an awesome podcast....wouldnt read too much into some of what was said...but loved coaches eyes light up, talking football. Sherman is awesome...I know his passion can get the better of his sense at times, but he is my kinda football player. Not saying I want him on the bolts at this stage...just giving respect.

They could, and they could still do that whether or not they keep Kara's. Agree they may want to keep him, just that he may like to go elsewhere.

How many Chargers players under contract means little. Cut Turner, now we have 35 mil. Hayward, 45 mil. Cap goes up 10 mil with TV contract, 55 mil


Miami having 58 under contract just means they will be cutting some of their cheaper players or big cap hits. . We have a dozen that are RFA's or ERFAs which none will have a high tender. In fact I'm letting Facyson walk. I don't think we wil have a problem at all here.

First, if Miami values Karras - he is not going anywhere. They have plenty of cap to deal with

As for the cap going up by 10m with the TV - I kind of hope it doesn't go up higher than 182-183m. Another 10m lets too many teams back in the Free agent came - Chargers have an advantage.

JOK would be fine - granted the Notre Dame thing with Telesco. Still prefer OT of course in R1 or CB but he counts as Front 7

There is also a conditional first round pick if Wentz plays enough snaps - like 75%. So it will probably be a 2022 FRP.

For the Eagles - they save a bunch of short term cash and have a clean cap for next year. The cap savings this year because of dead money, I think its nominal, maybe 500k by making this trade

Colts get Wentz for 25m this year and $23m next year - so not too bad.

Still not sure how the Lions got two future firsts for STafford but taking back Goff helped!!
