Some people don't want to stay in relationships where they know they aren't wanted. Other people can deal with it. I've seen both types.

If we were talking accounting, I'd say, "Shut up, Rodgers, and get back to tabulating numbers!"

But we're talking about a career with a not-too-distant expiration date, one where he puts his physical well-being at risk. His employer selected his replacement a year ago and just allowed the alleged best center in the league to exit via free agency. Rodgers can see that he's no longer a priority, despite an MVP season.

A marriage is a contract, too. And people break those contracts (for many reasons, among them) when they recognize they aren't being dealt with "in good faith". The woman who knows her husband has cheated on her multiple times, and that it won't stop. The husband who comes to understand that his wife is a gold-digger who really doesn't give a shit about him. People reach a limit and say, "I'm out."

IMO, that's what has happened with Rodgers. I see this as a human nature thing, which is different from a strictly legal/contractual thing.

You're allowed your opinion, and I'm not trying to talk you out of it. There's just more than one lens through which to view an issue.

Arizona Cardinals rookie linebacker Zaven Collins was arrested Sunday morning for excessive speed and reckless driving, and was later released.

Going 76 mph in a 35 zone...wow, if it was 40 or even 45, not as egregious...but 76? Dangerous...I see some bonehead drivers in our residential street going 20 mph over the limit and I just cringe...only a matter of time before they hit some kid running out after his basketball...

In my opinion, weeks leading up to the draft, are more interesting than weeks up to a season. Roster is pretty much set, nothing on the field to review or watch, just hoping no disaster off field issue strikes players down.

Nassieb is smart. Like was said above, if he gets cut he can go all Kapernick on the league. He is already a hero to a lot in society now.

I still think NFL players struggle with this issue in the lockerroom. Everyone wants to be woke and all, but I think deep down this is going to be a problem for the NFL.

Not sure what woke has to do with not being a bigot.
Since the statistics say about 12%-20% of the population is gay and upto 35% of the population is bisexual there have been more than a few gay/bi dudes in locker rooms for the entire existence of the NFL.

Nassieb came out and I was still able to sleep last night. Who woulda thunk it?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

                      I concur.
Draft time let’s us discuss prospects athletic traits, film study, and scheme fits. It is a busy time and one of my favorites.

End of minicamp to training camp is a football news blackout. Sucks!

Yea this deadzone gets pretty boring. Next thing you know we will be talking about Baseball or something like that.

I drove 150 mph on the 52 in San Diego which was 55 mph at the time. We are all young and stupid at one time or another. Most of us grow out of it, hopefully without hurting someone or something before we do.
