Wilson has 2 years left on his contract. If he rebounds and plays well, the Broncos are going to have to pony up huge money with the way QBs are getting paid and they can't build their roster with high draft picks. If he doesn't rebound, it's even worse because they can let him go and then will have no solution at QB and the same lack of high draft picks.
      Yep. 'Zackly.

He improves the Broncos' chances of winning any given game, but the price they paid-- and the associated inability to build the roster because of that--, makes it unlikely, IMO, that they can string together enough wins to qualify for championship games.

I still don't think that Joe Reed is the answer. If there were some niche that he could excel within, they'd have found it already.
Meanwhile, on a beach in Fiji, Tom Telesco is raising his pina colada and resting on his first-week laurels.

We’ll see how the Watson and Wilson trades play out over the next few seasons. I’m sure if either team gets to the Super Bowl it will have been worth it to the team and fans. They both gave up a lot but I think Denver gave up more for Wilson.

Wilson is better because he is consistently good to great..... Watson is talented and makes some spectacular plays but fails to make the routine ones...... Watson is very inconsistent....

It will be interesting to watch. Cleveland has a great RB tandem and Denver has a solid back as well so both won’t have to carry the team. Denver has better WRs right now and both have fairly stacked defenses. They are each going into very good situations for a QB

                Doubt it.
my guess is that he's a daiquiri guy.

                  Idk man
not many things would turn me off to my own team
                  But rooting for Watson?

I send an open invite to the Charger bandwagon to any current Browns fans with any bit of self-respect.
we offer you an even BETTER qb who isn't being sued by multiple people for disgusting behaviors.

I’m sure Watson never forced himself to reach being criminal. I’m just happy for Houston to recoup so much for one player. He is a talent and makes Cleveland a legit team. Hopefully the six game suspension he will probably serve, takes them out of the playoff picture.

Matthew Stafford gets a 4 yr $160M extension, $135M guaranteed. Lowers his cap number and pushes the hit to later years.
