After watching that screw up why would he want to play for a disfunctional franchise?I wouldnt go back and would be happy to leave. However, the idiot Browns who did no homework on Watsons situation screwed us for Herberts extension and other teams QBs extentions

I'm not on Redit, but a few people I know on their are telling me the same thing, which is that many, many Browns fans are jumping ship with the Watson debacle as the last straw, and many of them are interested in a adopting another franchise,

Preferably one with a stud at QB wearing the best looking uniforms in all of football.

can't blame them, especially after wearing the color of shit their whole lives. Haha

But how does that work? He's still a Brown, he has a contract. If they want him back and he refuses (who could blame them?), then what? The Browns are between a rock and a hard place.

I dont know but others seem to get a trade with a contract. He is a FA after this season and making 18 mil. Seattle seems to be the spot who wants him. Trade Lock to the Browns for him. Geno is said to have the edge there anyways lol. Either way the Browns season this year is in the crapper.....thanks to their bad ownership.

Who knew Cleveland was dumber than Houston? Doesn’t seem possible.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

How do you see Watson - Browns screwing up Herbert's extension?

5 years, 230 mil which is around 46 mil a year for a player in trouble and not as good. Just not setting a good presidence for others and is more than Mahomes.

Right. Clearly the Browns have management issues.
Herbert and the Chargers are not them. We don't have to clear that hurdle. He won't be cheap but I believe we'll get it done in a way that does not preclude feilding a quality team around him.

What a mess? So stupid of Watson. He would have just been better off hiring escorts. Or do dinner, Netflix and chill, spa dates… so many ways to get it.

If Mayfield can be magnanimous and play out 2022 for the Browns he'll be rewarded with a huge contract for a new team in the offseason. Injury insurance would be a smart move too. Big if, but if he did he'd come out this mess smelling like a rose.

Maybe if they write him a big check to play this season. Otherwise, he wants no part of the Browns. They showed zero confidence, kicked him to the curb after he played hurt for them and lifted them farther out of QB hell than they’d been in 20+ years. Browns we’re greedy and stupid. Bad combo

Baker has much to gain for playing well as the Browns starting QB
He should play, he's a competitor and shouldn't take playing for granted.
he has a chance to really recoup his image further and really shine as an exemplary pro for kids to model after.

                          Rooting for the guy.
