Grossly overstated. Just look the percentage of 49er fans in last year's playoff game between the 49ers and Rams - Vivid seats estimated it as 65% 49er fans despite the Rams refusing to sell tickets to people with addresses outside of LA. And this in the NFC championship game. I don't disagree that the Chargers have a long, long way to go but the dmac's point is valid - there are just not that many long term Ram fans in LA
NorCal. In what is generally Niner - Raturd country I have been surprised to meet quite a few looong term Ram fans.
I don’t care anymore. Truth is it makes for a raucous environment at home games when the crowd is split. Players must be used to it by now. The only games that bother me are the Raider games because that split has been heavily in favor of the Raiders and they’re the worst
If we make the playoffs best believe Chargers fans will come out the wood works.
For that to happen would mean a true anomaly happened. Either the entire package comes together or fate smiles upon the powder blue. I’m not saying it can’t or won’t it’s just until proven the general fan will not pass on opportunity, the online ticket market will draw even good/believing fans away. Until the Chargers build up their own numbers, mafia, raider Nation whatever these long die hard fans live and die for, the Chargers are really going to have to be special, especially in LA.

The Chargers are in a playoff environment all the time and I don't think they mind.
Fans just need to suck it up & rep.

See some surprises this season. Lions being the biggest, biting knee caps all the way to the playoffs.
