Bears doing a pretty good job of stockpiling draft picks...a 2nd rounder last year for Mack, now a 2nd and 5th for Roquan...on the other hand, the Bears are currently 3-5...looks like the rats are leaving the ship...

Watching the replay of the NY Giants v Seattle Seahawks. Chargers missed on RB Kenneth Walker III because they dealt that second round to Chicago, as part, of the Chicago Bears trade FOR Khalil Mack. This 2023 off season, I want the Chargers to go into the draft with all their draft picks intact. I come away not impressed with our front office's ability to spot horse flesh at the running back position, year after year.

Roquan Smith a Raven - I coveted Roquan Smith but I value my draft picks more. So, nevermore, dear friends...nevermore.

That said, my picks for the NFC and AFC Championships are Seattle Seahawks v. Dallas Cowboys and KC Chiefs v Buffalo Bills

I don't think he was a reach, he just isn't panning out. Up to half of the drafted players in round 1 usually don't so the goal is to find the ones that will. At the time, I liked the pick. Not so much now lol.

I am past done. It takes 33 games to evaluate an NFL player. I've seen enough bad angles, wrong gap, missed tackles, with low grades. LB is easiest position to draft/grade/evaluate behind running back and our front office can't do either.

Seahawks have their first six round draft picking starting and excelling. Chargers have a 3rd round who doesn't see the field, and neither does the 4th Round. Yes, the Chargers have their left guard of the future playing excellent left tackle at the moment, but only because Kirby Smart had the Chargers make that pick as a favor in the 6th.
