I hate Thursday Night Football as a general rule, but the tradeoff for the players and their families is generational wealth. I find TNF to be unadulterated greed at the player's expense and a huge overreach by the NFL owners and the blemish on the shield.

I say it every year, depth becomes more and more important.

We all know TV drives the revenue and the players association went along with it to add more money to the salary cap so you'd better include the players in the group only caring about $$$.

I used to think that the Thursday Night games would just be sloppy affairs because of fatigue and lack of practice, but last two games made me think they are just dangerous to players.

I always thought the NFL should only have Thursday night games either the 1st week or between teams coming off bye weeks. The product was never good for years they had tons of crap teams on Now it seems the better teams are on more and it’s killing the product when guys go down with injuries. But Amazon just paid billions so that’s that…

I have never watched the second game unless we were playing in it -- and I absolutely HATED that timeslot! Who on the east coast wants to stay up until 1 AM on a weeknight anyways? Just a dumb, dumb idea.
