How do you know "King is no FS"? When did you see him playing that position?
I'm not arguing it, I just don't see how any of us can really know until we see him playing there for a few games. That said, I do not expect to see him taking over that spot - I think Nasir will be the FS.

Ironically, many thought King was a CB....me included,.. and a safety but Lynn didn't ever see him as a CB but a safety and nickel guy.

King can play FS but I think Adderlly gets the nod there and King may play some SS. Maybe both.

I dont want Mariota either and he isnt impressing much in LV. He may get cut as well.

Lynn Bowden got Traded to the Dolphins for a 4th rounder. He didnt stand out either in LV but Grudens offense IS very complicated and he had many possitions to learn as he was sort of a uitility guy. ....not to mention he wasnt showing much burst as they wanted from him.

King has always been a mixed bag...can play free safety, but doesn't have elite range. Can play strong safety, but he isn't a destroyer. Can play outside corner, but lacks the length to be a true shutdown type. On top of all that, he is a pretty darn good nickel corner. Bottom line, he can probably back up any position in that secondary as well as anybody...incredibly valuable, even if he may not dominate any single one of those positions...love having him...hopefully he embraces that role while he is with us.

I'll be surprised if Cam last as the starter for NE in 2021. I have no doubt BB is eyes wide open for a qb
