true but lets face it. Rosen had 2 spots he could of been the guy and instead got released from both places that needed a QB after he failed to impress.

Why would Belichick be after a guy like that? Especially since the Miami HC is one of his former coaches.

Daniel Popper - who I like and does a good job for the Athletic mentions names like Jaylen Watkins and Addae as depth at SAfety. And I get the price for those two guys will be the minimum

But unless Earl Thomas is a complete a**hat - isn't he a better football player than Watkins and Addae. I get he doesn't play Special Teams but maybe its money - but bring in the better player. He knows the Bradley system I would think. Unless they want the guy on Special Teams - makes no sense.

What would you do with Adderley then if you bring in Earl Thomas? Adderley is your possible long term solution.

They aren't an Earl Thomas away from making a run in the playoffs.

Earl Thomas is unstable and possibly mentally ill.
He carries a risk/reward that many GMs aren't willing to gamble on.
Btw I’m not saying you can’t successfully play in the NFL with mental illness ala brandon marshall, but ET looks undiagnosed/treated. And that’s hard especially when your quickly becoming human ON the field.

I think Jax is a team that could sign Rosen. They have Minshew and some rookie, later round pick as the backup.
