Right? And the Jags took a minute to pull away from the lowly Colts...

We played an instant classic against the best looking team in the league, week 1....there were legitimate concerns with the defense, yes, but overall, we looked better than most teams...got work to do, but lets not tar and feather the coach just yet...
    Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

They have a Super Bowl ring, though.

I agree. Crazy to happen on the first series. At least he got the big contract prior to the injury.

So did the top four AFC teams all lose very winnable opening weekend games? Interesting.

Strap in, boys and girls, gonna be a looooong season.

This goes to what I've been trying to get across. You can't predict how a team's season is going to turn out based on Week 1. The Chiefs, Bengals and Bills all lost to non-playoff teams. The Bengals and Bills looked dreadful and Chiefs looked ordinary. They all looked way worse than the Chargers, who played a playoff team and nearly won. Nobody is going to predict the Chiefs, Bengals and Bills are going to have failed seasons based on their week 1 failures.

Not just lost, but looked bad doing it.

So, do the Jets sign Tom Brady to a one year contract? Just asking...

for all the comparisons to what happened with Brady when he went to Tampa, the one thing hanging over the jets was their offensive line and Rodgers was literally pressured on all four passing attempts that he had...bad O-line doesn't bode well for anyone's Super Bowl chances and the jets line is awful...hard to rebuild that in one offseason...

big contract? Rodgers took a big pay cut...lost like 18 mil guaranteed this year....

There were some surprising results Sunday but the Rams going to Seattle and beating the Seahawks was one of the most surprising. They completely revamped their team, are the youngest now in the league and their back ups looked horrible all pre season. They were missing their number 1 offensive weapon in Kupp but have a 5th round rookie receiver who had over 100 yards and a small guy in Atwell who also went over 100. Meanwhile, their defense held Seattle to barely over 100 yards passing.

The 49ers should've waited to trade Trey Lance. They probably could've gotten a better draft pick from the Jets.

Read somewhere that he was the 49ers first choice to sign if they had made the SB last year.
