its amazing that other teams like KC, TB, SEA are making trades and moves toi make great teams better, yet Chargers never admit they have a weakness and try to get better by adding actual talent instead of adding guys no one else wants.....

I say Carlos Dunlap may be worth a look if we are looking for pass rush help. Watt more versatile but our luck he'd sign here and immediately get hurt.

SEA got him for a late round draft pick...... so p,layers can be had....

there has to be a vet OL and a bigger tackle-breaking type RB available that are better than what we have.....

Watt has had a ton of injuries in the past few years so you just know if we made a move for him he'd get hurt his first game. In all seriousness, I'd love to add a talent like that but it won't put us over the top and the price tag would be huge so I'd probably pass and use that capital to continue to build the roster around Herbert.

I suggested trading for Derrick Henry before he started playing really well. He stunk it up for a while and we wanted a bigger RB and not long after that, he seemed to finally get it and he took off.

I think if and when Telesco believes they are truly in the mix for the title with the top tier teams......
That is when he would be more likely to go all in and trade for a piece.

Let's not forget he did trade to get Turner and did sign Bulaga in the off-season. Signed Okung, Franklin, Pouncey, and drafted Fluker, Lamp, Pipkins, Feeney, and others in 1st 3 rounds of draft.

It's not like he is ignoring the line. He just isn't nailing any of his picks or free agents or even the trade for Turner, often because of injury issues.

Can he add to the staff a Football Shaman of Offensive Line Health? ...because that is what he needs most to help his o-line.

What needs to be considered is will our shit o line help us or hold us back from winning a superbowl? If not then TT is not the right GM becuase this dude cannot build a stong o line to save his life.

That’s the inherent risk
some really bad teams picking top 3 might be desperate enough to gamble
We know (or should know) better than to depend on James being healthy.
Everyone knows what Sewell represents, multiple first round picks may not be enough
frankly even James alone may not be enough
But it might
and we happen to be one of the few teams that have one.

we've got next season for this discovery. I'd rather give him next year and even his fifth year before kicking him to the curb. Not interested in trading him because his upside is to high for what we would get for him in trade. But, going forward we can't just go into a season and bank on him to be there. Just pleasant surprises if he gets healed up properly this time.
