He shouldn't cost more than a 5th at this point. Carolina will release him otherwise and I think teams are probably waiting for that. Newton might be hoping for that too.

I tell you - if the Chargers do not get Brady, pass on Cam, build up OL, DL and CB in free agency (really, one Tom Brady contract can fill those three areas!) - take your QB at 6 or figure out QB in the draft.
