Grain of truth to this...I think Flores was released because he didn't want to work with Tua going forward and the Miami Management wants someone who can work better with Tua. They probably did Flores a favor by letting him go!

I have no idea if this is true or not, but Tua is so limited in what he can do (even after 2 seasons) and is so fragile they'd better have a backup plan. Not a good position to be in for a coach...

It's worth it for Flores
get out of an organization that won't get your qb
Leave a team situation led by Tua for the foreseeable future
let it known around the league that Herbert was your choice
Better chance at Head Coach job now even with this antisocial arrative, than in 3 years when Tua officially busts on your watch.
He is a good coach, I don't want him in division

Wink was on the rumor list for a HC job last year but don’t know if he actually had any interviews. It sounds like maybe he is not a hot candidate right now, but hey HInes Ward and Bill OBrien or whatever his name is got interviews.
