When Marty was fired, the Bolts had plenty of talent, but I heard an interview with LT one time when he said the coaching change to Norv really set the team back...so the coaching carousel had a big impact...now in later years, yes, the lack of talent at certain positions did hurt PR and the Bolts...

The modern NFL, or it should be, is about input from multiple sources and people and then trying to make a decision. This just makes so much more sense than the old "one guy know it all" model. It seems like the Chargers and Vikings are implementing this model.

The current situation in college is wild, there is no player union or player based entity to negotiate collectively in their favor, so it's a bit odd to compare the situations or the monies involved, obviously the NFL is all about "everyone" enjoying some of the benefits and not just a handful of guys...there is a reason why there have been so many issues with college based video games lately, I think people will lose their shit if the same thing happens in the NFL and Madden becomes extinct due to individuals negotiating their own contracts...is it fair? IDK...

IDK either. I really don't give a shit about him or the NFLPA licensing agreement. Maybe he will be forced to sign anyway, maybe not, i couldn't give 2 shits either way. Just posting contrary ideas to spurn thought.

Maybe he doesnt believe in collectivist redistribution? Maybe the current license structure is unfair to the wealth creators? Who made the deal that gives Madden exclusive monopoly rights to players likeness and images? I don't know anything about any of it, I can't judge.

"Madden" video game makes more he does. Is Madden sharing its wealth with less profitable video games so they all enjoy equal benefits, as you would say?

I expect he will be brought in line. I don't think it will have much to do with how he performs as a player on his team as his personal individual incentive to deliver and be great flows to a team benefit. or he turns out to be a whackjob headcase and rips off his jersey and storms off the field at halftime ... lol, beats me, I'll be watching like the rest

They didn’t draft any safeties either so that surprised me too, with his salary I think Derwin is probably on their list of guys to move in the future
