The only great draft steal we have had was KA due to Injury History. When have we found guys like Thomas2rd and Kamera3rd like saints or THill5th kHunt3rd from chiefs. Just look at other teams drafts.
We are poor at developing top picks like Gordon and Williams first year.

one area we seem to do well in is walk on like Gates, eckler... maybe we they need to explore this method more.

I wonder if we do well with walk-ons, or do they simply beat out the flops on the roster either with youth / not yet disproved potential, or cheapness of contract?

Guys like Gates and M.Floyd were a long time ago, but even the year Tolbert walked-on, they blew a 3rd rounder (plus a fifth and future 2nd in trade) for J.Hester.

Ouch...those stinking draft picks the Bolts foolishly tossed away just to move up and pick Hester, only an average running back--crazy...that deal still makes me do the old slow burn...
