Besides the TD by Matthews they couldn't get anything going.
Cards penetrated on just about every running play. There was nothing there. Their DL was very stout, and our OL seemed completely out of sync in the run game. Our pass blocking was pretty good, though. Small pockets, but they kept Rivers clean most of the time.

It's really frustrated to watch Rivers clapping his hands while the time is running down that happened on the lost snap play.
IMO they need to line up faster and give Rivers more time at the line (so that he prevents the damn clapping that to be honest I don’t like).
One of the things I did not like from the Norv era was that our O lined up at 15 to 10 seconds left almost all the time. IMO Rivers does not exceed with so little time left to do his reads or changes.

Got to beat them on the edges when they blitz up the middle so often.

Cards play the screen pretty well. Their DB are really good at shedding blocks and making the open field tackles. Not sure the screens would have helped us that much. They won the game on the perimeter.
