Got to give it up for Donald Brown

No, he didn't exactly break lots of tackles BUT he definitely showed toughness in SPADES!!!

31 freakin carries and six targets in the passing game (five caught). He was a big part of this win by keeping possession of the ball in all those touches. I think if you have a better opposing QB we wouldn't have given Brown the ball so much but today he was what we truly needed.

Btw, he's not been a big carries guy in the past so this is encouraging to say the least. I just hope we find other running options as we face better opposing QB's that might necessitate more yards per carry.

Do we consider making a trade for a RB?

Love Brown but two rookies behind him and uncertain Mathews is not a good option for this offense.

Brown showed what he could do for us, fersher.

All hail the McCoy and the Telesco.

The only reason he didn't post fantasy numbers is b/c they knew what he was there for whenever he was in the formation.

Bless this mess, and let them all get healed quickly.

Glad he didn't get hurt and that he didn't fumble. But I hope Brown can do a whole hell of a lot better than he did today. Those runs mostly went nowhere. Reminded me of Jackie Battle.

Time to look at the ranks of the unemoloyed. It still early in the season so somebody should be there. Somebody that holds onto the ball.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The guy I would like to see if we do go after a vet is Ben Jarvis-Green Ellis. More consistent and doesn't fumble. Also a good short yardage guy.

They really didn't need Brown to do anymore then what he did this Game. The Bills knew they were running on a nice % of the plays,& the knew the Boltz were trying to kill the clock

TT & McCoy weren't using Brown with his best potential
