There's just something about the blue tops and gold bottoms that just..... I don't know..... seems to clash?
The shoulder bolts do look cool, and I do like the white helmets with numbers.
All whites are slick as are the powder blues.

i think white pants with the powder blue tops look good. that is what the throwback uniforms normally used. the right tint of gold pants could work as well. the gold pants from the 1979 and 1980 teams looked great in the royal blue era (my first 2 years watching the chargers).

My current guess is that the unis will be simple, clean and minimalist.

The Lightning Bolt will be as we see on the hat and T-shirt at Charges hPro Shop.

No panel.
The same Bolt atBoltmet shoulder and pant leg.
Home is Blue...Bolt trimmed in white...exactly like hat and T-shirt.
White pants.
White helmet.
Away is all white...again no panels.
Blue socks.
Blue or white numbers.
Grey face mask.
Color rush jersey will be something atrocious that makes us projectile vomit.

I didn't think I would like any yellow pants, but with that color of powder blue jersey, yes, that combo is pretty good!

I actually prefer the powder blues and white pants. PB needs to stay the main color. Those can be our throwbacks

You cant just go with a yellow pant for a throwback. You have to have a throwback jersey to sell. I think the throwback could be a different blue version of our uniform. Like this version. We had a darker PB top in 1960. All we have to do in addition to this jersey and pant is swap out the stickers on the helmet. Thats the 2 times a year throwback.
