I've heard him being interviewed on sports radio here and completely comes off as a fanboy. He wrote a book about Manning. http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2013/0...or-mark-kizla/

What is a fanboy? Is that different than a fan who is a boy?

It's really pretty lame that only when it's Manning (or possibly Brady) losing in OT without getting the ball that it's an issue. Nobody gives a shit if Rivers doesn't get a shot to score. And the Peyton Manning rule was put in place to keep it from being too easy to win the toss, get about 3 first downs and kick a field goal to win. If you drive it 80 yards down their throats the other team didn't deserve to win.

80 yards down their throats? Even Ron Jeremy can't pull that off.

We're fanboys here. So if a reporter goes on a talk show and comes off like your average internet message board geek, fawning over the players on the team, not appearing to have spared any objectivity, then you're not being a professional, you're a fanboy. That's why Peter King gets made fun of, because he's clearly more a fan of a certain player/team, and loses all his objectivity because of it.

He's a writer for the Denver Post and also on Mile High Sports radio(really the only sports station in Denver)for the morning drive time. He likes to push buttons but he has an opinion even if it is often different than most Broncos fans and is often very critical of the coaches and players. He's had a lot to say about both McCoy and John Fox.

Okay, I looked it up on Google. A fanboy is a male fan.
Let's just use the word - fan. It's English and doesn't sound lame.

It's meant to sound lame, it's a pejorative term.

It's bad to be a fan? People are way too negative nowadays.

Fan is neutral. Fanboy is pejorative. The Chargers have fans. The Broncos have fanboys.

In five seconds, I could think of at least 20 better descriptions of Broncos fans than "fanboys". I feel like English has taken a shit the past few years.
