I remember Tomlinson being the only talent on the 2003 offense. That year we had David Boston, who had extremely high hopes for but didn't do sht, and the O-line consisted the likes Soloman page, Courtney van buren, and I cant even remember the rest of them. Gates was on the team but wasn't "Gates" yet. I remember the last game when Brees just fed Tomlinson the ball just so he could break 100 receptions. The o-line was sht, and it was Lorenzos 1st year. A lot of Tomlinsons big games was when the entire D would cheat close to the line to run blitz, some how Tomlinson would juke his way out and run past the safeties for a long TD run. We were extremely, disgustingly spoiled to have him

But he did play better in 2006 when we added Mcneil, and when Dielman developed and (former DL or TE) found a nasty streak. Primed oline

I was re watching the seahawks games, and the current line plays downhill when they runblock. I saw a clip of Troutman just pancaking Earl Thomas to crud. Dunlap also gets down the field quickly for a bear. They have their moments

Rich Ohrnberger, the starter at center the last two games, isn't practicing. Rookie Chris Watt is practicing. #Chargers
Looks like Watt has been promoted. Changes needed to be made to the O-line.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

        ?

He's the backup center. Not really a promotion.

Chargers have him listed as backup to both guard positions, not at C

I'm hoping Watt get in there at C and stays there for a long time.

But, before Dielman was good, before McNeill was in the NFL, when we were hardly winning any games, in 2003, Tomlinson got more combined yards rushing and receiving than he did in 2006. He also had an even higher average per rush than he did in 2006. He didn't have the insane amount of rushing TDs or quite the amount of yards rushing. But, really, it depends what you mean by "best season".
I'll give you that, 2003 was a crazy good year, didn't he have 100 receptions? I guess 2006 stands out because of the ridiculous amount of TD's, on top of gaudy rushing/receiving stats. Such a great player!

The only thing I take from Kras's tweet is that Ohrn is taking a day off (for one reason or another)... Someone has to play that position when he is out...

I'm so glad I got to see him play 'live'. Him and Seau and Gates.

Must be a change. They previously had him listed as the backup C. Of course, what they publish and what they do in a game are not always going to jive.

A pretty good Charger player too. Almost eeked out a .500 record with that same mess the great Drew Brees could do absolutely nothing with.

                          Sorry for the hanging prepositions.
