  • Chargers Signing Nick Vigil

Lb from the Bengals. One year deal. Said to be pencilled in the middle with Perryman according to rappaport. Don’t know anything about him.

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Lunch pale type. Huge snap totals last year. Huge from an experience standpoint. Young enough to hope for growth. Good depth guy. Not sure about the penciled in stuff. Is he being paid that much money?

He's a solid tackler, not sure how he does in coverage though. Just looking at the interwebs, it seems like he finished last year off on a high note.

I don't think this guy has anything to do with the above. If Vigil is making more than what Watkins received from Houston - its too much. Depth signing - nothing more

Depth player with athletic upside and instincts. He lacks explosive traits and isn’t a 3 down player.

Perryman, Vigil & Tranquill are the only established starting level LBs on the roster. Nick is a good get, particularly with Perryman having been unreliable. We have some young, unestablished LB wannbes but I wouldn't take Simmons off the board just yet.

I’m hearing two things about him.

                      1) great at finding gaps/ stopping the run

                      2) guy famous for being burnt my Lamar Jackson on that one play

Looks like a just in case should Perryman break down kind of signing.
Agreed that this does nothing in re: to drafting Simmons.
