I’ll give this thread it’s due attention when I have more time but I want to say I think I like Lonebolts picks more than he does.
I think he got the best qb and best rb
and a really really great fit at wr for Tua’s style
KJ looks like a poor mans Ruggs
as for Logan in the 4th, I’m sure that’s good value, but as I’m looking at the roster, I’m convincing mysef more and more that we’re set at LB.

anyway, high risk/high reward draft for the bolts
      good job lonebolt

      P2. Shocking Effort - Eboigbe

        Top 10 picked

I agree with the selections on 1-4 and 8-10.

        5, 6, and 7

I'm against the grain. I'm just not feeling Brown as a top 5 player in the draft.

Tua, Im spooked. I just can get past thinking what happens everytime his hip hits the ground and when a 320lb lineman could be rolling over him on a tackle.

And then Herbert to Panthers, I guess since Bridgewater deal was 3 years. But usually a new HC just signs a QB for $63mil, I don't think he want to create a controversy with a rookie.

Picks 11-20 I agree with all the selection.
Jordan Love is very talented. If this pick goes boom. Dolphins could own the AFC East for a decade.

Picks 21-30 I agree with selection.

        31 and 32

I don't think Lynch or Shanahan are down on Jimmy.

I'm not as high on Gladney, and I just think Chiefs and Reid, since no RB was taken, would select their favorite RB.
Who has it better than us?

            San Francisco
13 OT Jedrick Wills. Staley will retire soon, or not be as effective. Mcglinchey has the athleticism to take over at LT.
new Right Tackle to keep the outside runs dominant.
31 QB Jalen Hurts. I'm just not a Jimmy G fan, I don't trust him and I know somewhere deep inside, Lynch doesn't either.
I think with Hurts' rushing ability, it's a natural fit in their already dominant run game.

            Houston
40 WR Shenault. love this guy's potential. he isn't Hopkins, but is simply a weapon. I recently mocked him for us.
57 TE Hunter Bryant. obviously, I made the pick before the Texans traded it to LAR for Cooks. I know they have a crowded TE room.
but none seem to be very effective outside of whats his face (name escaping me) who finally started producing last year.
Bryant will be another weapon that will convince Watson to stay.
97 comp pick. iOL Robert Hunt. Texans have a hold at OC and RG and possibly LG. Hunt can fill one of those.
very mobile and strong kid with experience at OT too. better run blocker than pass at this point. needs coaching but a starter soon.
111 Rashard Lawrence. toughness. leadership. motor. those three traits are needed for a Texans defense with an aging JJ Watt.
heads up defender with a nice first step. can penetrate and man two gaps.
isn't spectacular at either, but solid. starter by 2021, maybe sooner.

            fire at will.

Rd 1/26: Xavier McKinney DB Alabama
Round 2/39: Isaiah Wilson OT Georgia

Don't look now, the Dolphins may do the biggest turnaround in NFL history. Brian Flores says it starts with a top notch defense. Passing on Tua and Herbert will be a defining moment. Think Derrick Brown plus Christian Wilkins at DT. CW was VERY good as a rookie BTW. The totality of these circumstances allow Love to develop slowly, like Patrick Mahomes. Love at #18 is not the same as Love at #5...or #6. BTW part 2. Dolphins still have picks #153, #154, #173, #185, #227, #246, & #251.

                NY Jets

Round 1/11: CeeDee Lamb WR OK
Round 2/48: Jaylon Johnson CB Utah
                Round3/68: Darrell Taylor EDGE TENN
Rd 3/79: Ben Bartch OT St Johns MN
Round 4/120: Ben Bredeson OG MICH
I am actually quite pleased with what I did for the Jets. CeeDee is such a baller. Do it for Darnold ! No OT at #11 / Why ? Cause Fant and Chuma. That's why. These picks all address screaming PON's. Late picks can go for TE, RB, S. Depth.

                Green Bay Packers

Round 1/31: Justin Jefferson WR LSU
                Rd2/62: Marlon Davidson DL Auburn
                Round3/94: Albert Ok'bunam TE MO
Round4/135: Joe Bachie LB MICH ST
Aaron Rodgers to Justin Jefferson AND Davante Adams...uh- oh.
Aaron Rodgers to Speedy Albert Okwuegbunam, deep down the middle...uh-oh.
Gimme some D, says citizen owners of the Green Bay Packers.
I guess so, says Matt LaFleur/Brian Gutekunst.
                And no more PEDs Bachie.
No more small talk about legalized assault and battery, Marlon.
Late rounds must address depth at several positions.
Dolphins. solid catch of talent. you're not going to turn it around in one offseason but thats a hell of a draft if you ca secure all those guys.
I didn't pay attention to what Christian Wilkinson did his rookie season so i'll take your word. I love Kinlaw but think Brown is the better player overall.
Love is a bit high for my blood but there are only so many guys with throwing talent coming every year.
McKinney has the intangibles to be a leader in the secondary.

                Jets
CeeDee will be an elite number 1 WR so Darnold thanks you. as well as all that protection.
I like Darnold and think this is a smart way to go all in on him.
Jaylon can be a number 1 CB someday.

                Packers
met their biggest need with Jefferson who is going overlooked for some reason.
I think you got solid value down the line.

Honestly I'm just disappointed that Miami didn't take Tua. I wanted to see what the Chargers would do with Tua and Simmons off the board, and I was robbed of that.
Pick 5 felt like a setup for pick 6. In fact eye wood even say that this mock was rigged!

I have been a huge fan of James Lynch for most of his career. He is friends with my sons college roommate. Who was a blue chip HS football player out of Texas but chose Rugby with my son at Arizona. Rugby has helped us get to become friends with a bunch of guys who chose football over Rugby and are now entering the draft. I think a bunch of WRs are falling because they didnt get a 40 down or ran slow. 4th round will produce WR gems and thats why i went with 3 there in that round. And doubled down. The idea that Lynch could plat 3T for Seattle but also that Bosa role made me grab him a little higher than where he likely ends up. But ive seen him between the 2nd and 5th rounds. im higher on him than most.

3 good ones but really i cant decide which i like better between Phillly and Seattle. Scores on the OL for Seattle and love the Robertson pick. But Philly....them first 4 ...hec 5 are good.

Allow me to satisfy your curiosity....the pick would have been Justin Herbert...unlike some on this board, I have no problem at all taking Herbert...would feel better about the pick than I would Tua....but if Tua is there, I think the Bolts snap him up.

This thread is results from a forum wide mock draft we had with members picking for teams like a real draft. You put your mock own Chargers mock in here where we have a section for that somewhere else. You just have to look for the title.
