Look at Gino's college schedule the last few years, how many time zones has he played in? I bet several and many times. Its a blatant bald face lie!
    Go Rivers!

If Geno can't figure out when meetings are because he isn't home, well, maybe "QB" isn't his calling...probably isn't anyway.

That was the problem - his phone changed time zones but the meetings by the team are in the eastern time zone, which is really stupid considering that some of these players aren't real bright.

Shit, now the nfl is going to make a rule that east coast teams wont have to play in any other time zone, unless the games are in London or Denver. It's only fair.

They'll cite Geno as an example - so that they can say that West coast teams can't travel east until game day, because they'll run the risk of West coast players showing up to meetings 3 hours early, and thus creating a competitive disadvantage for the east coast team involved.

If this had happened to Eli, yes, but I doubt they change it for Geno.

As we all knew going into the game Sunday, there was no reason the San Diego Chargers should lose to the New York Jets. Granted, this had never stopped them before, but on Sunday things were as they should be. The Chargers dismantled the Jets in all three phases in a way that I can't remember seeing as a lifelong fan of this franchise. It was truly beautiful.

Let's start by seeing who contributed on offense:

                    Pos. Name W5 Snaps "% of Total W5" W4 Snaps "% of Total W4" "WoW% Change"
                    G Chad Rinehart 74 100% 63 100% 0%
                    T King Dunlap 74 100% 63 100% 0%
                    QB Philip Rivers 72 97% 63 100% -3%
                    C Doug Legursky 70 95% 63 100% -5%
                    WR Keenan Allen 63 85% 63 100% -15%
                    RB Branden Oliver 41 55% 18 29% 27%
                    T D.J. Fluker 40 54% 63 100% -46%
                    TE Antonio Gates 40 54% 59 94% -40%
                    G Johnnie Troutman 40 54% 33 52% 2%
                    WR Eddie Royal 38 51% 48 76% -25%
                    G Chris Watt 38 51% 30 48% 4%
                    TE Ladarius Green 37 50% 0 0% 50%
                    T Willie Smith 34 46% 9 14% 32%
                    WR Malcom Floyd 33 45% 52 83% -38%
                    TE John Phillips 31 42% 17 27% 15%
                    TE David Johnson 30 41% 0 0% 41%
                    WR Seyi Ajirotutu 24 32% 6 10% 23%
                    RB Donald Brown 22 30% 43 68% -39%
                    RB Shaun Draughn 11 15% 0 0% 15%
                    QB Kellen Clemens 2 3% 0 0% 3%
Only Rinehart and Dunlap played every snap thanks to Rivers bowing out before the last two plays, Legursky's and Fluker's injuries, and the ongoing competition at right guard. Kellen Clemens saw his first "action" of the season thanks to the blowout. Hopefully, he can get some more kneel down snaps in the coming weeks. The Reich-McCoy offense continues to be very tight end heavy with Johnson, Phillips, Green and Gates all getting at least 30 snaps out of the team's 74.

                    And as for the defense:

Nobody had to play every snap this week, which I think we can all agree is a nice change of pace. Even with Wright missing the game, none of the corners saw over 48 snaps. The fact that Freeney continues to be in the top 5 in snaps is a little bit of a concern since the team can't afford to lose him for an extended period of time. Jerry Attaochu can't get healthy and start taking snaps at Jack soon enough. Also, it's fascinating that Reyes was the only defensive linemen to crack 50% of the defensive snaps.
Mathews gets less snaps than we think. The good news is he's very visible when he's in there. But I love keeping the D line fresh.

Also love the two te offense. And the o line is not getting enough snaps together.
