There has been multiple deep shots Herb has taken this season and a number of different receivers have dropped the ball/ slowed their route / drifted too wide etc.

Say what you will about Guyton or Tbilly but those guys ran 1 speed in 1 direction and Herb knew where they were gonna be.

Tbilly had 26 catches and 3 TDs total in his entire career playing for the 11 different teams that cut him so let's not go overboard on the unicorn receiver and his elite route running.

Thats my point. These guys were not great route runners, but they were reliable deep threats. Currently Palmer, QJ, Ladd, Chark, Dissly, Smart, Davis: none of these guys are reliable deep threats.

Maybe Justin wasn't looking that way and saw first down open field in front of him.

You do not know what he is thinking.
I tend to discount and ignore guys that assign harsh negative motives and feelings to others. Whether it was the many posts that Greg is selfish and petty and doesnt care about the team or anyone else, or that Herbie refuses to throw to certain players - I just don’t believe these views. Others are free to believe the as much as they want.

Q had one bad drop, he did not have a bad game. jmo. I have no info that Herbie saw him wide open, felt he could make the pass, and then purposefully decide no way I’m throwing to him because of the last drop, unless I get some info to support it. Its bad karma to constantly make up negative shit like that imo.
Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

A guy with 26 catches and 3 TDs in his 6 year career is not exactly my idea of a reliable deep threat. Chark is known as a reliable deep threat but for whatever reason is in the coaching doghouse here. The rest are not deep threats.

you know the film NMC !!

this is why i would love to see us break the bank and get a true WR1 next season. we need to leverage Herbert's arm.

you make a good point about the legend of TBilly on the TPB (his 3 TD's in 2020 are the only TD's of his career), but it does seem like Herbert was hitting guys like TBilly and Guyton in stride with deep balls his first few years. something has been off lately. i was at the chargers / giants game when he rolled out and laser sighted an approximately 54-yard bomb.

And Palmer, ...he can play.He makes tough catches, made some nice catches last night and key first downs. This Joe acts like we have a bunch or clowns at WR.

Looks like Harbaugh and Hortiz agree we have clowns at WR. They were willing to take a chance on a total head case!

                        yeah, not an encouraging move.

At least Target got into the holiday spirit with these beautiful Justin Herbert TVs for sale (saw these yesterday).
