I have to imagine that so long as Lynn is HC, we’ll lean towards the Denver zbs bootleg but he would be foolish to not use shotgun sets to threaten deep.
I don’t care if I don’t see JH in 2020, let him sit and marinate. The potential is quite literally unlimited.
imagine in Rivers had JHs physical tools/athleticism, that’s what I envision.

In fact, a less polished Andrew Luck is a good comparison for Herbert. Both are big, strong, fast, have elite arm talent, and a big brain. Herbert is a more natural athlete than Luck.
Outstanding contribution...where the hell were you a month ago, when I had to take my Herbert love, and stow it in the closet to avoid the haters?:cuss:

LOL...welcome aboard, and thanks again for the insight.

The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB, Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

We'll see what happens but iam a Seminoles fan and Willie Taggart was the worst thing that happened to the football program. He is no guru.
Hopefully all that bad coaching didn't ruin him.
This offense needs speed at Wr and a rb to help him.
          We all know that though.

Something us duck fans and Seminole fans have in common when it comes to Willie Taggert.

Go Bolts, Go Ducks. I'm loving having a few other Duck fans in the forum.

Yeah. It's premise is the things that you do in totally different fields than where you ultimately end up help you more than if you just had a straight, easy path.

Maybe Herbert having to deal with multiple head and offensive coaches and multiple offensive philosophies will better prepare him for NFL success than Tua's one-stop, one head coach grooming. It will be interesting to look back at this in a couple of years.

A very thoughtful and insightful (and informative) post. I hope you will post more. We all love this team, even the grumpy posters.
