I invite anyone here to go visit (an unedited) dialog where Clarlie Kirk dialoged with others.

Many of his dialogs were held at the most prestigious universities of the world, while Charlie held no college credentials himself. He faced them all...a minority against the mob...and did so impromptu, while his opposers had well-crafted darts, deliberated for weeks.

I ask you to consider: Who held the more intellectually sound argument? Who expressed the superior moral compass? Who was most compassionate to his opponents?

I can only credit a source of truth larger than Charlie for his repeated success...as he would himself. His opponents ultimately decided the only way to win was to silence, slander, censor or shoot a bullet in his throat.

I worked a convention set up last week. The guy I was having break with that day said.....oh shit Charlie Kirk got shot. Oh he died!

        I said.....who is that?

I honestly didn't know who he was. I've since learned what he is about and things he has said because I wondered why someone would assassinate him.

I worry because I see my kids even after this has happened listening to social media posts trying demonize Kirk and basically say he is a bad human that is better off dead. If I wasn't divorced I think I would try to remove all social media access my kids have. I tried to tell him to go look at acutal Charlie Videos where you can really hear what he is saying intead of out of context hit pieces.

I seen friends on Facebook taking this oppurtunity to post a bunch of Anti-***** stuff and even some false Kirk slander. I think I convinced them to take it down before their employer saw it. But crazy to me, its; not just fringe people celebrating this. Stephen King, TMZ, teachers, doctors, governement officials. The polls about how young people find this type of violence acceptable is appaling.

Having a moment of silence for a Public Figure who was bruattlay assasinated live on the internet is not a political statement. Its a human anit-violence statement.

I realize I'm not in a position of authority at this message board but I'll say something anyways. I think labeling this as "His opponents" is both misleading and potentially highly dangerous. All we know so far about the person who shot Kirk is that it was only one guy involved and he's been arrested. You stating "opponents" implies it was a group of people involved - which is both inaccurate as it relates to the known facts and as I mentioned before - very dangerous. I don't want people to injure or kill others because they may be grouped into being responsible somehow with this killing despite zero actual evidence.

Since Kirk's death I've witnessed countless of a certain persuasion celebrate his assassination. Many of those voices have been sensibly reprimanded or seen their voice reduced. It's obvious now there have been many, many enemies eager and ready for his blood. But fair enough...I validate your point: a greater number of his enemies weren't blood-thirsty...they just wanted him silenced, or sidelined forever. Gratefully a lot of people of all persuasions still want open dialog and peace.

I've been much inspired to become more like Charlie. In any case, don't think we can much more discuss it properly on this forum, and I think that's likely for the best on a sport's forum.

Maybe I'm wrong in some things I've stated. In any case: wish you the best, Whydachargers.

Charlie Kirk stated he believed he should be able to say anything, even if it offends people. Even speech deemed "evil speech" was fine in his opinion. You would want to go against Charlie and the Constitution because???

RIP Rob Reiner. So sad how he died. Heart-breaking.

"Defending My Life" was by far my favorite movie that he directed. And I LOVED "All In The Family" that he acted in. But he made some bigger name movies that were very successful. He was a talented film-maker.
