What are you reading right now?
I was going to read the newest J.D. Robb "In Death" book, but I found out I missed one that had been released in between, so I need to track that one down.
Otherwise, I'm re-reading Stephen King's Tommyknockers (about the 5th time).
Hey Karl, that seems pretty interesting (social structure in Middle ages Europe). I found a CliffsNotes version of it. I liked "The Rise and Fall of the Feudal System in Europe" part at the end. Brief but well stated.
For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

I've been re-reading Exodus.
Wish I could read Hebrew.
"I, the Lord, your G-d, am a jealous G-d, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me."
For those who like quicker reads, Bob Marley has a good "Cliff Notes"-style audio version of it.

Speaking of Feudal Europe, I just finished yet another non-fiction book: A Great and Terrible King: Edward I and the Forging of Britain
by Marc Morris. Dry as hell if you don't like history, but very interesting and informative if you do. It really fleshes out the before-and-after of "Longshanks" reign, not to mention making him more than the one-dimensional villain he's been portrayed as in Braveheart. It really does the history more justice than the movie.

I'd really like to try some book versions of Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer. I saw a movie version of one of them and it looks like a seedier, more immoral Marlowe, but interesting.

For fiction fans, I've ben reading a fun one lately called:
Mad Scientist's Guide to World Domination
It's an anthology that deals with - you guessed it- Mad Scientists or some kind of corollary. Some stories are comical, some tongue-in-cheek, some tragic, but so far, they're all really good. One even deals with a kind of sewing circle of mad scientist's daughters. Very cool.

Finished Game of Thrones Book 1. (Finally!)
Reading Dr. Drew's Cracked, and Jim Gaffigan's Dad is Fat.
Needed to read something different.
Will probably go back into fiction when I finish these."...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
