Maybe I was giving you too much credit in the intelligence department. A rock so heavy you can't lift it, what are you 8 years old?

That's is a hugely unintelligent argument, it's an absurdity and states nothing whatsoever about the logical possibility of omnipotence. Making such a statement is an insult to intelligent atheism.

Yes there is intelligent atheism just as there is intelligent deism, your statements show intelligence is not part of your view on the subject and betray your bigotry.

Without a god in this fight, agnostard weighs in...

If god creates a universe with properties, and takes the form of a man for the purposes of martyrdom (or even just as a door-to-door doorknob salesman) within that universe, the man would be bound by the properties of that universe, and therefore couldn't lift the super heavy rock unless god were to break character, and then all bets are off.

So the answer is, God could create a rock too heavy for him to lift in such a place where properties of weight and limitations of man exist and God has assumed the form of a limited physical being.
Or, God might not be able to create a rock too heavy for him to lift in a domain where he is omnipotent because weight or other comparative concepts would not apply to the deity in question, and might not even exist.

It's simply an absurdity. Saying an absurd statement proves a logical argument is absurd in itself. You may as well say the inability to make a square round proves something or any other such absurd statement.

No intelligent atheist would make such an argument because it is not intellectual, if this guy actually learned about some intelligent atheist philosophy he would realize how foolish making such an argument makes him sound. Maybe the term atheidiot applies here.

Really. These so-called experts have never taken a course in Logic in any University.

Mocking or belittling them is just childish trolling.
If a grown person walks around in all seriousness saying he believes in Santa Claus or the tooth fairy, people would probably mock or belittle them. But if you believe in an omnipotent being nobody has ever seen, then you get a pass.

Wow. You are joining in too?

Belief in a higher power is not remotely the same thing as believing in faeries or unicorns and their is only one reason to make a comparison between the two.
