There are several different pathways at OL, B74. I will keep throwing them all in the cement mixer to figure out which way is preferred.

One thing can be said...LAC needs to be smart...and stay true to their board.
I see round 5 offensive linemen I like for us.
And I hope you are not saying that Rashod Bateman or Rondale Moore are in the same universe as Ja'Marr Chase or DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle.
Or Surtain II, Caleb Farley are not up to snuff.
Or Rousseau is any better than Ojulari...
    On and on.
We should hang on for this reduced NCAA season to end.
It will all change after the Senior Bowl and Combine.
Surely everyone sees the discrepancies at various big boards.
Grab some WRs or RBs in round 5 LOL!Trench time is for the first 3 rounds and its about damn time.Dont care about the past only care about our future with Herbert and TTs ineptitude at building trenches is gonna hold our star and team back.He better change his philosophy on scouting trencher talent cuz so far he sucks!

Nutty if you go back and look at personnel moves by several teams, including TEN, CIN, CLE, DAL, IND and BUF, you'll see what a hit or miss thing it all is.

Your Conklin ended up being a hell of an FA pick up. CIN just missed getting Quenton Nelson. These types of dudes transform Olines.

Did you think Bolles would ever be OK ? Believe it or not, I want to hang in with Tevi-Lamp-Feeney-Turner...budget shopping. Can you just get Bulaga to retire ?
Same reason I didn't like Mel or Tillery

Any board that identifies Tillery as the last 1st round grade on the board... is a board I don't trust.
Bateman is a great route runner ala Keenan Allen... with more speed.
Moore (although smaller) is shifty, fast, and a tough matchup when in motion.
I like Waddle and Smith a lot but suspect they benefit from being part of a stacked college roster.
To me, Chase is the least impressive of the 5.
I see guys in the 3rd round that are as capable as Surtain or Farely.
11 sacks in 2 seasons < 15.5 sacks in 1 season. Strength, length, frame... Ojulari is probably a 3-4 OLB. Rousseau is a bonafide NFL DE. As a former WR and recent DE conversion, Rousseau's ceiling is unrealized.
    On and on, indeed...

BTW... even without Von Miller and Bradley Chubb playing today, Herbert taking pressure.

    Thus far...
Melvin Gordon: 4 rushes, 35 yards. 8.8 ypc
    Chargers RB's: 2 rushes, 5 yards. 2.5 ypc

It's the perfect time to move on from your coach and scheme philosophy.

Oddly enough, Buffalo is a great example of a team that transformed its OL, in a very short time, to suit its new QB and offensive philosophy. Brought in FA's Mitch Morse, Jon Feliciano, Quinten Spain, Vladamir Ducasse, LaAdrian Waddle to compete for jobs. They also drafted Dion Dawkins (2nd round), Cody Ford (2nd round), and Wyatt Teller (5th round). They weren't afraid of wholesale change. In 1 year, they replaced 4 OL positions.

I can see the Chiefs and Seahawks not caring. But I feel that the other teams listed do. The Ravens, for example, just cut Ed Reed this past offseason after making him one of the highest paid safety in 2019.

JUCO transfer, big, physical, patient, excellent contact balance, smooth movement skills, but his hand placement needs work. Myron gained 25#s of muscle this past offseason.
I'll have to check him out. Thanks.
