Agreed. Also, really loved that we added the bookend RT and added young upside at TE/WR. Was trying to figure a way to get Brian Robinson Jr, but couldn't make that work. Maybe consolidate the later picks for a punter and RB, although in FA would assume we could add a #2 RB, an IDL, corner?

Brian Robinson or Matt Araiza in the 4th? if either is available I am pondering
Hoping for Joseph Day NT/DT, Carlton Davis CB, and D'Ernest Johnson RB in FA

He was above avg but not the top elite. I don’t know if he was worth it, is 600 yds 9 TDs worth 12M? i agree with you he would have had better stats with Herbie than he got in NE. i only meant that he called the market valuation right.

NE fans don't think he was worth it.

In Staley’s 3-4 you align Johnson weak side OLB?
Wyatt RDE? Both are big gets/needs. Moved up for Johnson. Have him late first early second after Senior Bowl. Wyatt is a penetrating interior run stopper and pass rusher. His ability to disengage from blocks, speed and explosion look elite. Maybe. Better comparison would have been Geno Atkins (who I believe is a free agent). Made two Pro Bowls and before Donald was one of the most dominant inside pass rushers.

Both players stock up, tried to get both on Charger roster.

I’d be happy to get both also. But Johnson looks like the better pick for us in the first. I just hope all the pretty girls aren’t gone when we pick in the 2nd.

                      Georgia DT Devonte Wyatt

Wyatt did exactly what I thought he would do here in Mobile. He showed how dynamic and explosive he is, particularly in the one-on-one pass-rush drills. His combination of quickness and power was on display. He looked like a first-round pick.

Would also add his motor runs hot, shows consistency across the spectrum of what is asked, reads and diagnoses like a professional. Very polished. Eat your heart out Jeremiah-
