If Jaimes is ready next year, and you can kick Feiler out to tackle, or if Pipkins is FINALLY ready, that would be great...maybe even possible...but Im not banking on it, personally.
The plan might be to let Feiler and Pipkens battle for RT;
and if Pip unexpectedly wins, stick Feiler back at LG.
You would need to focus on guards and not tackles in free agency/ draft

Edit: Tillery to RT LOL

My point being, not only can he play OT, he can play almost anywhere...and that kinda value is under appreciated...in the end, a boring, very safe...but very high quality add to our team.Lone Bolt's Final Mock

If down the road, a better RT solution presents itself, or Pip looks really good, you can put him at RG, where I agree he would thrive. Or if, god forbid, we suffered a long term injury at one of the guard spots, you kick him inside and then use Pip or Storm.

Moving Feiler to RT now should be a no brainer, you eliminate one of the teams biggest weaknesses on OL and the hole created at LG is IMO both easier and less expensive to fill. It gives the team more bang for their dollar. It also allows the team to focus draft capital and salary cap where it’s needed most, defense. I don’t want to see the team invest another high draft pick at OL when the defense needs to be upgrade so badly."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. I'm leaning "no" on Kenyon Green. Here's why:
1) I'd leave Feiler @LG. He played at a high level there... 74.0 PFF grade.
2) It's hard for me to spend #17 on a guard. You can say Green can play all positions. But in reality, he has 142 snaps @RT (Kent State and Colorado). That's not enough snaps for a true evaluation IMO.
3) #17 needs to be spent on a premium position (CB, OT, or EDGE). Charles Cross, Trent McDuffie, Jermaine Johnson... those guys will be bigger impact players.
4) You can find a really good RT in the 2nd round. Abraham Lucas had an 89.9 PFF pass blocking score (0 sacks) this last year.
Imagine:
Slater: 83.6
Feiler: 74.0
Linsley: 85.7
Aboushi: 68.2
Lucas: 78.6
Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

Getting Green means a decent probability you'll get at 80 guy at LG at the NFLlevel. Essentially two 80 guys in their early 20's on rookie contracts. Your next step long term wise is to find a young center. If you double dip and get RT Lucas in round 2......
Slater: 83.6
Feiler: 74.0
Linsley: 85.7
Green: 80+
Lucas: 78.6+
We can then focus our resources (money, draft, FA) on getting defensive pieces therafter.

With a track background and impressive production as an underclassman, Washington CB Trent McDuffie is the type of versatile defender NFL teams will covet in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
