This year’s high flyer from nowhere.

    30. WR SKYY MOORE, WESTERN MICHIGAN

Moore has the elite shiftiness that plays so well at the receiver position. Whether it's shaking press coverage or breaking an FBS-high 26 tackles last year, Moore will make defenders miss ease.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

More than likely McDuffie is off the board by #17. Green, largely because he is considered more of a OG than OT will slide to Chargers selection. I would be happy with either one just trying to be realistic (maybe lightening strikes twice) but if I want highest impact player to slide its George Karlaftis. That’s the dude to pair with Bosa, great hand placement, advanced pass rushing technique and motor that doesn’t quit.

Defenses knew this and exposed it many times over with success. It was further exacerbated when defenses failed to get past our pro-bowl LT.....deploy resources to attacking that right side.
If you think he can play RT at a very high level, or you think he's a sure-fire All Pro guard, then you draft Green.
Just saying that you think he can play RT is not sufficient.

Many here say the guy has elite physical traits to be an outstanding guard (cinder block physique), but you better be damn sure
he has elite processing skills on the interior.

Quentin Nelson had that at Notre Dame, where you would see him picking up blitzes thru the gap on the other side of the center.
You don't pass up on All Pros because you can get by with what you have.

Green is a starting G in the NFL....not a starting RT imho.

But wait #17? Folks say oh #17 is too high to draft a G.

I had Chance Wormack and Decastro in my historical 1st round draft picks. I felt they'd come in and make immediate contributions as starters. I don't discriminate the big ugglies.

I think George Karlaftis is strictly a pass rusher. I see him get lost in the wash of a running play. He still needs to learn a lot about playing the run - too much for a first round pick, imo.

I say be patient with him with coaching technique into his game.

From a strength perspective he's got good natural size and functional strength. He was a 6-4 260 lbs shot putter in high school. He understands leg drive, how to explode, has strong hands, knows how to activate twitch muscles. I'm really interested in his 10 yard split and 3-cone.
