Just read Bruglers post combine mock and yes, he has Travis Jones going in the first round but Lucas falls to Bengals in 2nd and has Chargers selecting Perrion Winfrey, who I don’t believe is a fit in Staley’s defense, more of a 4-3 IDL.

If they don’t pick up a free agent RT or draft one in the 1st and Lucas is sitting there in the 2nd, I would be absolutely dumb founded if they didn’t pick him.

Abraham Lucas, 6060 315 has excellent mobility, easy mover, fluid, mirror & slide with excellent balance. 7.25 short shuttle tied Trevor Penning for top honors among offensive linemen.

Gives edge rushers open angels to gain leverage, lacks punch and in general needs to improve hand placement.

Did 24 reps, with 33 7/8" arms, needs better coaching.

like it, just ran quick 3 rd. felt need to find a way to move up in the 2nd to be sure Chargers had shot @ Lucas so traded down in first, still got DT Wyatt plus swapped 7th for 4th. notice they gave Lucas and Paschal a D-/ D. lol bottom line, Lucas and Paschal excellent Charger fits.

With the Mack trade, we just made our big splash move. I don't see how we can also sign a FA CB. So, CB might be the 1st round target.

The GAC guys broke down the contract and it's implications and believe there is plenty room for one more splash move.
