Chargers have a lot of needs, one less top draft slot (2nd for Mack) seems to me they’ve been throwing darts, and missing. Actually Zamir White is off my board by pick #123.
Believe me, poured over this RB class, just rather take flyer on other positions late for need and roll with surprise cut off another teams roster, or trade after draft.
He has done better picking RBs than picking late round QBs but you did it anyways, and we don't need one. This class stinks and doubt anyone that late beats out Stick so why draft one?

I think there are decent CBs beyond round 3. I like Coby Bryant for us but also like Alonte Taylor, Armour-Davis, Goodrich and McCallum could fall there in the 4th. Don't have a problem drafting Ford or Zamir or Rachaad White in round 3.

I think we need to trade down to get an extra pick. Green could be there at 20, 23. The Huddle report has him ranked 29th, Raimann 35th

And i do realize you might strike lightning and grab the next Terrell Davis in the 7th

What Telersco did working with other coaches and trying to improve other teams in different situations provided experience.
Working with Staley , his staff, the current roster & cap is not the same. Of that I am sure.
You believe our FAs and draft picks since Staley was onboarded are blindfold darts that missed? Many of us liked last year's OL adds.
Or, Is it Khlil Mack, JC Jackson, Austin Johnson, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Josh Harris, Gerald Everett, JK Scott, DeAndre Carter and Troy Reeder that you believe are wild guesses?
My guess is that Staley knows his roster and what he wants from them after a year together and that Telesco is giving him what he wants.
Only the 2022 season will provide real evidence and even if we win the SB, some will not like how we did it.

Linderbaum is a good player, no doubt.
38 reps belonged to 7th rounder Kody Russey not Linderbaum. He only tested at Iowas Pro Day and did 24 reps.

Cross is no doubt a possible choice; but the Saints have other issues as well that need to be addressed with a superior player.

Cross, J Williams, Olave, some bust qb are all options.

I see the 2 year qb contract for Winston as something geared towards keeping the ship floating while developing a top draft pick.
Draft a qb from this year's crop and you will want him to sit and learn.

Chargers were planning on sitting Herbert his first year, who was a better prospect then the rubbish from this year.
Tyrod had the place holder contract. Winston has a two year place holder contract.

Too make a difference @ RB and add legit #2 Chargers would require that 3rd rd pick and not doing that to address RB position. Drafting RB’s has not been a Charger strength, kick in Staley flyer in Rountree. Still have Kelly on roster. Only back in 3rd (availability) I could get behind is Zamir White. If he falls to 4th would you take him or address speed @ WR and kick returner?
