Alabama runs an offense that reflects a pro style offense way more than Oregon. If Tua or Mac are able to run the Bama offense then it’s more likely their talents translate to the NFL.

Herbert is such a unicorn because he adopted an offense SO different than what he ran in college, with virtual training camp and zero 1st team reps, then played the Chiefs on 30 seconds notice and performed better than he ever did at Oregon.

When is the last time the Chargers had a legitimate top 12-15 OL. Thats all I want - just a good solid playoff level - so top 14 teams now I guess - get it done Telesco!

And for Special Teams to not wet the bed all year

Yep...that speaks volumes...and Staley has surrounded himself with a pretty high-caliber staff, from all credible reports...looking forward to this draft...

This is why I have way less worries a out this draft than past ones... I think for the first time since Marty, there is a coach and staff, capable of helping the GM know their plan and needs to execute that plan. No matter who they pick in what ever round, I will withhold all judgment and just be happy that they seem to be heading the right way.

I do agree about the coaching but really don't see how WR is a fit at 13: Kwity Paye or Parsons - sure; Horn or Surtain - sure; we know OT or even AVT for OG - all make a helluva lot of sense

Never mentioned 13, just that I trust the plan with whoever and whenever. If they believe a WR at 13 fits their plan, then so be it.

I think for sure tonight I am going to DVR. Greenberg on ESPN was already going to not contain himself - but now add Rodgers. Just DVR, Fast forward up to the Lions, see if there is a trade; than FF to 13.

Draft won't start until 5:15 -- is my guess - need to give ESPN and NFLN time to "talk Rodgers"

Chargers trade back at 13 for extra picks … our cluster has top 2 OL, top 2 CB, TE Pitts, Top 3 WR's and they are all gone by the time we pick … so we trade back
