New trend, reuniting college QBs with their offensive weapons. Burrow/Chase, Tua/Waddle and Lawrence/Etienne

        13. Javonte Williams
        14. Boogie Basham
        15. Rondale Moore

And those are guys I like for us...never mind other tackles, WRs, DTs we don't need, that may take up some picks. Again, I see us in pretty good shape for adding another talented player early day 2.

Edit: Totally forgot about Joseph Ossai...there's a bonus 16th player...
Baby Gronk and very Nice Hunter Henry replacement.

Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

I'd be surprised if he makes it to 47. I think Miami will draft him at 36 Unless they want a TE.

Surprised at the late round run on EDGE when we expected a run on OTs. There’s gonna be great value come 47.

very reassuring to listen to the both of these guys post day one....

didn't like the quote, "unequivocally" a LT.... sounded like another one of Telesco's less than Jake quotes per his round one follies, i.e. MG3 as the last game changer on the board, or Jerry as their last first round grade on the board, etc.

in the presser, he alludes to Slater playing guard, and rather shares that they see him @tackle.... much, much better Mr. Telesco.

he talks of being patient and not paying the top ten premium, usually reserved for going up and getting a QB.... there is the chance that team Tommy John are coming into their own and getting wiser.

also extremely impressed w/Staley's vernacular and suspect he is an invaluable addition to the aforementioned brain trust.... a LOS team.... where has that been forever.... thank God.... finally.

still think we need a LG, and does Staley want a Dline day two to reinforce his LOS team ??

encouraged per usual after listening to our Brass, and.... will be nice to have an upgraded Oline.... playoffs def within reach/in our sights.

                        Day One Draft Losers

                        Loser: The Raiders

No disrespect to Alabama offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood, whose dreams came true Thursday night. But since when do the Raiders deserve the benefit of the doubt for reaching on a first-round prospect? Widely considered more of an early Day Two target, Leatherwood instead went No. 17 despite other tackles like Christian Darrisaw -- and top defenders like Jamin Davis and Kwity Paye -- being available. Las Vegas shuffled its O-line this offseason, but it's very hard to say it got better.

Jon Gruden and the Raiders bolstered their offensive line with Alabama's Alex Leatherwood at No. 17 overall. This was a bit of a reach.

Vegas needs to address holes in its defense, particularly at linebacker and in the secondary. It's never a bad thing to load up on the o-line, but they likely would have been able to grab Leatherwood or another top lineman on Day 2.

Only team in the NFL to not have a winning season since 2003.

I make fun of the ‘duhs choice, but isn’t that why they call them the ‘duhs?

But I can see Leatherwood as a quality guy in year 2 or 3.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
