Day 2 NFL Draft 2021 - Conclusion

10-12 guys I would jump over the moon for. I bet several fall to us. I wouldn't trade up for anyone. Someone will fall as they did in round one. I'd even consider trading back a little for an extra 3rd or something good next year.

Chargers have played this draft well.

^This. There are a lot of good players left so take whatever is available when we pick, especially in the second. Maybe do something with the 3rd rounders but honestly, having 4 picks in the top 100 should lead to 4 good players.

There's 5 or 6 guys I would be willing to go get. Trading up to 38 cheaper than 33 so see how it plays out.

Tackles slid as this wasn't a great OT class but lots of teams needing tackles ahead of us. Wouldn't mind a tackle run now that our most pressing need is filled. OTOH Also would LOVE Jenkins at 47.

I see a run on OL early in round 2 as bad teams try to improv their OLs. Build the foundation first.

In the second give me the bpa in oline and im happy " jenkins,cosmi,little etc". Or Elijah moore, rondale moore, rashad bateman, asante samuel jr. If its outside of the oline those are the guys i would want

As much as I want to go Hybrid DB with all 3 picks today, with SO MANY talented players left on the board, I'd be happy to grab Barmore or Onwuzerike for our DL, Eichenberg or Jenkins as a T, Wyatt Davis at G, an Edge like Ojulari or Basham,....man, it's endless!
With 3 more picks in the top 100, we WILL most definitely add to our depth.

Day 2 nuggets...

Really good players available....I wouldn't trade up, we can sit where we are at and do well in the second.

Exception...I would trade up for JOK if he fell enough that our comp or 4th rounder could seal the deal....that is a first round player folks, no doubt about it.

I might have considered trading up for Moehrig, but I think Grant and Holland are real close in talent and fit, and very likely one of the 3 is there at #47, if we covet such a player.

Rondale Moore and J. Williams and Pat Freiermuth are the only offensive skill players I would seriously consider taking in the second.

Too many clean prospects in the second...though Little makes my second round cluster, I would otherwise avoid scratch and dent specials like Dickerson, Wyatt Davis, Hamsah Nasirildeen, etc. until the 3rd round....

I just can't get excited about most of the defensive tackle prospects this year...not in the first 3 rounds anyway.

Robert Hainsey seems like a TT type player we could see go to us at the end of the third...versatile olineman, high intelligence and character, and a golden domer.

Would be ok with Meinerz or K. Green on day 2 as well...

Finally, would absolutely double dip at tackle, especially Little, Jenkins, and Spencer Brown.
