Collins hasn't been one of my favorites but he moves sticks. Not a HR hitter type.

Here is a little FA RB list for next season. DJ is about done already imo but i wouldnt mind Edmonds or Conner for a RB that wouldnt cost a lot. Conner is playing for 1.75 mil this season. Then theres Marlon Mack and Ronald Jones as well who wont be real expensive.
Not usually wanting to sign a RB in FA'cy but there are a handfull of young decent players available if they dont resign with their teams. Jones would maybe want out if Fournette stays with TB.

    1. Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    2. Melvin Gordon, Denver Broncos
    3. Chase Edmonds, Arizona Cardinals
    4. Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons
    5. James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
    6. Alex Collins, Seattle Seahawks
    7. J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team
    8. Mark Ingram, Houston Texans
    9. David Johnson, Houston Texans
    10.Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Bucs
    11. Darrel Williams, Kansas City Chiefs
    12. Marlon Mack, Indianapolis Colts
I ran into Alex Collins' college tape when I was scouting Frank Ragnow.
I think he reads his blocks well. He's patient and explosive. I think he has the speed an acceleration to be a good runner in an outside zone scheme. Teams haven't taken advantage of his receiving skills. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Seahawks re-sign him.

A lot of those RB's listed above are on teams with decent cap space for next year. We'll have to see who is available... and what kind of money they're looking for.

I do like a number of RB's in the later rounds this year.
    Zamir White
    Kennedy Brooks
    Cam'Ron Harris
    Mohamed Ibrahim
    Master Teague
    CJ Verdell
    Max Borghi

      If JJackson's healthy,
do we have what we need ?

C'mon man, you know the answer.

If JJ is healthy... it's always a temporary thing.
1 RB in FA and 1 RB in the draft... please. Let Roundtree and Kelly compete for slot #4.

Poor rb draft = Kelley and Roundtree and Jackson staying around for another year.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Yeah I think RT, DT, and EDGE are the top 3 priorities.

The CB class is deep. If we swing twice in rounds 4-7, I think we’ll end up with a player.

But if the ones we draft aren’t ready yet, I’m okay with Campbell as the starting NB rolling into next year. Hell, he should be the starter now over CHJ.

However, this mock depends on us getting Davis in R1, which is a long shot. Chances are he won’t be there but a starting level CB or OT will.

We need to augment our best players.
              Derwin has Nasir.
              We must think of Joey.
But first there is JH10.
              ORT.
              RB#2 :shifty:
We need to be able to outscore anyone.

I know you like to sharpen knives, but augmenting our strengths must come after mending our weaknesses.

Otherwise we won’t have any choice but to outscore everyone (which is my forecast for Sunday).

We must be able to beat teams in every way.

Like you, I think DT is a big need. I think Davis will be gone, too. I prefer to address NT/DT through FA. Sebastian Joseph-Day is 1 of the guys I hope we get. He's not Davis... but he's good in the system Staley likes to run.

I like Tevaughn Campbell, too. But if Michael Davis, or Samuels, get hurt... I think we're not deep enough. I haven't gone too deep on the CB class, yet. But I have watched most of the 1st-3rd round prospects. I've found that, half way through the 2nd round, prospects start having warts. Some cover well, but are poor tacklers. Tell me which 4th round prospects you like... I'll take a look.

I think RB#2 can be solved partly through FA and partly through round 4/5 in the draft. Niners took my RB#2 (Elijah Mitchell) in the 6th round last year.

That was last year, In a good RB draft class. This one not as good.

I'd be ok with a FA RB from the names I listed.

                          Methinks y'all are missing someone.

One is reminded of the time IND traded Marshall Faulk
                          and drafted Edgerrin James.

                          TT remembers.
