Mcduffie seems like a slam dunk...but its a pipedream. I think Sauce and Stingley go top 10, and Mcduffie gets snatched up by the Vikes. Our only hope is that the Vikes or any other CB hungry teams get hung up on length and man/press traits, and go for Booth or even Elam....OR...Hamilton slides into the teens. That might help...he would be hard for the Vikes to pass on...

He’s the top press-man CB in the draft after a healthy Stingley. Honestly I’d prefer him over McDuffie just because McDuffie is a ASJ redux to me, slightly larger sure but almost the same size and skill set. With Davis we can bring Elam along slowly as CB4 and then he can start next year after we let Davis go. When Elam gets his hands on guys at the LOS it very rarely turns into anything good for the WR. Elam did have some penalty issues but they mostly corresponded to his knee injury last year so that doesn’t have me overly concerned. Of course trading back and getting him would be ideal but I wouldn’t be overly upset at taking him at 17 either.
