So draft a guy ranked 50th at 20 and a guy ranked 43rd at 50ish???? That math does not make sense......

Nearly every person on that list is going in the 1st Round. That is a gobsmacking amount of talent in a department we are sorely lacking in, and I've done the most research on Jermaine Johnson, Cam Thomas, & Kingsley as they will be available when it is the Chargers turn to draft.

Jermaine Johnson and Cam Thomas play like their hair is on fire, and Kingsley is a violent, violent closer.

Just stunned to see Pipkins and Schofield playing that well. Props to the O Line coach and Staley.
If Linderbaum is on the board and the best talent, Should we take him and start him at RG with a healthy Linsley?

I see DLine as need atm

Based on the premise that Mike Williams, Justin Jones, Nwosu (or another ILB), Kyzir (or another ILB), Aboushi, Roberts, Parham and Norton are back -- that leaves probably cap space for I think 2, maybe 3 non Chargers free agents (as long as MIke Williams is not franchised - I am still a No on the franchise but moderate to yes on the long term deal) - but I have the needs as.

IDL, CB, RT, IDL, Edge, RB

Between the draft and free agency. I think it can be done.

If they franchise Williams and lock in that much cap space - that changes free agency a lot.

UtahBolt said he had one more year of eligibility and is a 'legend' so I don't think he will leave unless he is truly done with school. I'd like to see what his draft projection is, if he didn't have the production, he is just UDFA material, and if he gets the word he is only 7th round... why leave?

Covey will be 25 at the time of the draft
Guy like that only has so many years - he might be a late round draft choice (Chargers are estimated to have a few comp picks in R7 - might be a flier guy)
But he should go to the NFL
